Psalms 104

1 A meditation upon the mighty power, 7 and wonderful providence of God. 31 God's glory is eternal. 33 The prophet voweth perpetually to praise God.

 104:1 Bless 1288 the LORD 3068, O my soul 5315! O LORD 3068 my God 430, You are very 3966 great 1431; You are clothed 3847 with splendor 1935 and majesty 1926,

 104:2 Covering 5844a Yourself with light 216 as with a cloak 8008, Stretching 5186 out heaven 8064 like a [tent] curtain 3407.

 104:3 He lays 7136b the beams 7136b of His upper 5944 chambers 5944 in the waters 4325; He makes 7760 the clouds 5645 His chariot 7398; He walks 1980 upon the wings 3671 of the wind 7307;

 104:4 He makes 6213a the winds 7307 His messengers 4397, Flaming 3857 fire 784 His ministers 8334.

 104:5 ¶ He established 3245 the earth 776 upon its foundations 4349, So that it will not totter 4131 forever 5769 and ever 5703.

 104:6 You covered 3680 it with the deep 8415 as with a garment 3830; The waters 4325 were standing 5975 above 5921 the mountains 2022.

 104:7 At Your rebuke 1606 they fled 5127, At the sound 6963 of Your thunder 7482 they hurried 2648 away 2648.

 104:8 The mountains 2022 rose 5927; the valleys 1237 sank 3381 down 3381 To the place 4725 which 2088 You established 3245 for them.

 104:9 You set 7760 a boundary 1366 that they may not pass 5674a over 5674a, So that they will not return 7725 to cover 3680 the earth 776.

 104:10 ¶ He sends 7971 forth springs 4599 in the valleys 5158a; They flow 1980 between 996 the mountains 2022;

 104:11 They give 8248 drink 8248 to every 3605 beast 2421b of the field 7706a; The wild 6501 donkeys 6501 quench 7665 their thirst 6772.

 104:12 Beside 5921 them the birds 5775 of the heavens 8064 dwell 7931; They lift 5414 up [their] voices 6963 among 4480 996 the branches 6074b.

 104:13 He waters 8248 the mountains 2022 from His upper 5944 chambers 5944; The earth 776 is satisfied 7646 with the fruit 6529 of His works 4639.

 104:14 ¶ He causes the grass 2682 to grow 6779 for the cattle 929, And vegetation 6212a for the labor 5656 of man 120, So that he may bring 3318 forth 3318 food 3899 from the earth 776,

 104:15 And wine 3196 which makes 8055 man’s 582 heart 3824 glad 8055, So that he may make [his] face 6440 glisten 6670b with oil 8081, And food 3899 which sustains 5582 man’s 582 heart 3824.

 104:16 The trees 6086 of the LORD 3068 drink 7646 their fill 7646, The cedars 730 of Lebanon 3844 which 834 He planted 5193,

 104:17 Where 834 8033 the birds 6833 build 7077 their nests 7077, [And] the stork 2624, whose home 1004 is the fir 1265 trees 1265.

 104:18 ¶ The high 1364 mountains 2022 are for the wild 3277 goats 3277; The cliffs 5553 are a refuge 4268 for the shephanim 8227a.

 104:19 He made 6213a the moon 3394 for the seasons 4150; The sun 8121 knows 3045 the place 3996 of its setting 3996.

 104:20 You appoint 7896 darkness 2822 and it becomes 1961 night 3915, In which all 3605 the beasts 2421b of the forest 3293a prowl 7430 about 7430.

 104:21 The young 3715 lions 3715 roar 7580 after their prey 2964 And seek 1245 their food 400 from God 410.

 104:22 [When] the sun 8121 rises 2224 they withdraw 622 And lie 7257 down 7257 in their dens 4585.

 104:23 Man 120 goes 3318 forth 3318 to his work 6467 And to his labor 5656 until 5704 evening 6153.

 104:24 ¶ O LORD 3068, how 4100 many 7231 are Your works 4639! In wisdom 2451 You have made 6213a them all 3605; The earth 776 is full 4390 of Your possessions 7075.

 104:25 There 2088 is the sea 3220, great 1419 and broad 7342, In which 8033 are swarms 7431 without 369 number 4557, Animals 2421b both small 6996a and great 1419.

 104:26 There 8033 the ships 591 move 1980 along, [And] Leviathan 3882, which 2088 You have formed 3336 to sport 7832 in it.

 104:27 ¶ They all 3605 wait 7663b for You To give 5414 them their food 400 in due season 6256.

 104:28 You give 5414 to them, they gather 3950 [it] up; You open 6605a Your hand 3027, they are satisfied 7646 with good 2896b.

 104:29 You hide 5641 Your face 6440, they are dismayed 926; You take 622 away 622 their spirit 7307, they expire 1478 And return 7725 to their dust 6083.

 104:30 You send 7971 forth Your Spirit 7307, they are created 1254a; And You renew 2318 the face 6440 of the ground 127.

 104:31 ¶ Let the glory 3519b of the LORD 3068 endure 1961 forever 5769; Let the LORD 3068 be glad 8055 in His works 4639;

 104:32 He looks 5027 at the earth 776, and it trembles 7460; He touches 5060 the mountains 2022, and they smoke 6225.

 104:33 I will sing 2167 to the LORD 3068 as long as I live 2425b; I will sing 2167 praise 2167 to my God 430 while 5750 I have my being.

 104:34 Let my meditation 7879 be pleasing 6149 to Him; As for me, I shall be glad 8055 in the LORD 3068.

 104:35 Let sinners 2400 be consumed 8552 from the earth 776 And let the wicked 7563 be no 369 more 5750. Bless 1288 the LORD 3068, O my soul 5315. Praise 1984b the LORD 3050!
