1 David, complaining to God of former judgment, 4 now, upon better hope, prayeth for deliverance. 6 Comforting himself in God's promises, he craveth that help whereupon he trusteth.

A Mikhtam of David, to teach; when he struggled with Aram-naharaim and with Aram-zobah, and Joab returned, and smote twelve thousand of Edom in the Valley of Salt.]] O God 430, You have rejected 2186a us. You have broken 6555 us; You have been 599 angry 599; O, restore 7725 us.

 60:2 You have made the land 776 quake 7493, You have split 6480 it open 6480; Heal 7495 its breaches 7667, for it totters 4131.

 60:3 You have made Your people 5971a experience 7200 hardship 7186; You have given 8248 us wine 3196 to drink 8248 that makes us stagger 8653.

 60:4 You have given 5414 a banner 5251 to those who fear 3372a You, That it may be displayed 5264 because 4480 6440 of the truth 7189b. Selah 5542.

 60:5 That Your beloved 3039 may be delivered 2502a, Save 3467 with Your right 3225 hand 3225, and answer 6030a us!

 60:6 ¶ God 430 has spoken 1696 in His holiness 6944: “I will exult 5937, I will portion 2505a out Shechem 7927 and measure 4058 out the valley 6010 of Succoth 5523.

 60:7 “Gilead 1568 is Mine, and Manasseh 4519 is Mine; Ephraim 669 also is the helmet 4581 of My head 7218; Judah 3063 is My scepter 2710.

 60:8 “Moab 4124 is My washbowl 7366; Over 5921 Edom 112b I shall throw 7993 My shoe 5275; Shout 7321 loud 7321, O Philistia 6429, because 5921 of Me!”

 60:9 ¶ Who 4310 will bring 2986 me into the besieged 4692 city 5892b? Who 4310 will lead 5148 me to Edom 112b?

 60:10 Have not You Yourself 859, O God 430, rejected 2186a us? And will You not go 3318 forth 3318 with our armies 6635, O God 430?

 60:11 O give 3051 us help 5833 against 4480 the adversary 6862c, For deliverance 8668 by man 120 is in vain 7723.

 60:12 Through God 430 we shall do 6213a valiantly 2428, And it is He who will tread 947 down 947 our adversaries 6862c.
