Psalms 34

1 David praiseth God, and exhorteth others thereto by his experience. 8 They are blessed that trust God. 11 He exhorteth to the fear of God. 15 The privileges of the righteous.

 34:1 [[[A Psalm] of David when he feigned madness before Abimelech, who drove him away and he departed.]] I will bless 1288 the LORD 3068 at all 3605 times 6256; His praise 8416 shall continually 8548 be in my mouth 6310.

 34:2 My soul 5315 will make 1984b its boast 1984b in the LORD 3068; The humble 6035 will hear 8085 it and rejoice 8055.

 34:3 O magnify 1431 the LORD 3068 with me, And let us exalt 7311 His name 8034 together 3164a.

 34:4 ¶ I sought 1875 the LORD 3068, and He answered 6030a me, And delivered 5337 me from all 3605 my fears 4034.

 34:5 They looked 5027 to Him and were radiant 5102b, And their faces 6440 will never 408 be ashamed 2659.

 34:6 This 2088 poor 6041 man 6041 cried 7121, and the LORD 3068 heard 8085 him And saved 3467 him out of all 3605 his troubles 6869a.

 34:7 The angel 4397 of the LORD 3068 encamps 2583 around 5439 those who fear 3372a Him, And rescues 2502a them.

 34:8 ¶ O taste 2938 and see 7200 that the LORD 3068 is good 2896a; How blessed 835 is the man 1397 who takes 2620 refuge 2620 in Him!

 34:9 O fear 3372a the LORD 3068, you His saints 6918; For to those who fear 3372a Him there 369 is no 369 want 4270.

 34:10 The young 3715 lions 3715 do lack 7326 and suffer 7456 hunger 7456; But they who seek 1875 the LORD 3068 shall not be in want 2637 of any 3605 good 2896b thing 2896b.

 34:11 Come 1980, you children 1121, listen 8085 to me; I will teach 3925 you the fear 3374 of the LORD 3068.

 34:12 Who 4310 is the man 376 who desires 2655 life 2425b And loves 157 [length of] days 3117 that he may see 7200 good 2896b?

 34:13 Keep 5341 your tongue 3956 from evil 7451b And your lips 8193 from speaking 1696 deceit 4820.

 34:14 Depart 5493 from evil 7451b and do 6213a good 2896b; Seek 1245 peace 7965 and pursue 7291 it.

 34:15 ¶ The eyes 5869 of the LORD 3068 are toward 413 the righteous 6662 And His ears 241 are [open] to their cry 7775.

 34:16 The face 6440 of the LORD 3068 is against evildoers 6213a 7451a, To cut 3772 off 3772 the memory 2143 of them from the earth 776.

 34:17 [The righteous] cry 6817, and the LORD 3068 hears 8085 And delivers 5337 them out of all 3605 their troubles 6869a.

 34:18 The LORD 3068 is near 7138 to the brokenhearted 7665 3820 And saves 3467 those who 1793a are crushed 1793a in spirit 7307.

 34:19 ¶ Many 7227a are the afflictions 7463a of the righteous 6662, But the LORD 3068 delivers 5337 him out of them all 3605.

 34:20 He keeps 8104 all 3605 his bones 6106, Not one 259 of them is broken 7665.

 34:21 Evil 7463a shall slay 4191 the wicked 7563, And those who hate 8130 the righteous 6662 will be condemned 816.

 34:22 The LORD 3068 redeems 6299 the soul 5315 of His servants 5650, And none 3808 3605 of those who take 2620 refuge 2620 in Him will be condemned 816.
