Psalms 132

1 David in his prayer commendeth unto God the religious care he had for the Ark. 8 His prayer at the removing of the Ark, 11 with a repetition of God's promises.

 132:1 [[A Song of Ascents.]] Remember 2142, O LORD 3068, on David’s 1732 behalf, All 3605 his affliction 6031a;

 132:2 How 834 he swore 7650 to the LORD 3068 And vowed 5087 to the Mighty 46 One 46 of Jacob 3290,

 132:3 “Surely 518 I will not enter 935 my house 1004, Nor 518 lie 5927 on my bed 6210 3326;

 132:4 I will not give 5414 sleep 8142 to my eyes 5869 Or slumber 8572 to my eyelids 6079,

 132:5 Until 5704 I find 4672 a place 4725 for the LORD 3068, A dwelling 4908 place 4908 for the Mighty 46 One 46 of Jacob 3290.”

 132:6 ¶ Behold 2009, we heard 8085 of it in Ephrathah 672, We found 4672 it in the field 7704 of Jaar 3293a.

 132:7 Let us go 935 into His dwelling 4908 place 4908; Let us worship 7812 at His footstool 1916 7272.

 132:8 Arise 6965, O LORD 3068, to Your resting 4496 place 4496, You and the ark 727 of Your strength 5797.

 132:9 Let Your priests 3548 be clothed 3847 with righteousness 6664, And let Your godly 2623 ones 2623 sing 7442 for joy 7442.

 132:10 ¶ For the sake 5668 of David 1732 Your servant 5650, Do not turn 7725 away 7725 the face 6440 of Your anointed 4899.

 132:11 The LORD 3068 has sworn 7650 to David 1732 A truth 571 from which He will not turn 7725 back 7725: “Of the fruit 6529 of your body 990 I will set 7896 upon your throne 3678.

 132:12 “If 518 your sons 1121 will keep 8104 My covenant 1285 And My testimony 5713b which 2097 I will teach 3925 them, Their sons 1121 also 1571 shall sit 3427 upon your throne 3678 forever 5703.”

 132:13 ¶ For the LORD 3068 has chosen 977 Zion 6726; He has desired 183 it for His habitation 4186.

 132:14 “This 384 is My resting 4496 place 4496 forever 5703; Here 6311 I will dwell 3427, for I have desired 183 it.

 132:15 “I will abundantly 1288 bless 1288 her provision 6718b; I will satisfy 7646 her needy 34 with bread 3899.

 132:16 “Her priests 3548 also I will clothe 3847 with salvation 3468, And her godly 2623 ones 2623 will sing 7442 aloud 7442 for joy 7442.

 132:17 “There 8033 I will cause the horn 7161 of David 1732 to spring 6779 forth 6779; I have prepared 6186a a lamp 5216 for Mine anointed 4899.

 132:18 “His enemies 340 I will clothe 3847 with shame 1322, But upon himself his crown 5145 shall shine 6692a.”
