Psalms 118

1 An exhortation to praise God for his mercy. 5 The psalmist by his experience sheweth how good it is to trust in God. 19 Under the type of the psalmist the coming of Christ in his Kingdom is expressed.

 118:1 Give 3034 thanks 3034 to the LORD 3068, for He is good 2896a; For His lovingkindness 2617a is everlasting 5769.

 118:5 ¶ From [my] distress 4712 I called 7121 upon the LORD 3050; The LORD 3050 answered 6030a me [and] [set me] in a large 4800 place 4800.

 118:6 The LORD 3068 is for me; I will not fear 3372a; What 4100 can man 120 do 6213a to me?

 118:7 The LORD 3068 is for me among those who help 5826 me; Therefore I will look 7200 [with satisfaction] on those who hate 8130 me.

 118:8 It is better 2896a to take 2620 refuge 2620 in the LORD 3068 Than 4480 to trust 982 in man 120.
