Psalms 101

David maketh a vow and profession of godliness.

 101:1 [[A Psalm of David.]] I will sing 2167 of lovingkindness 2617a and justice 4941, To You, O LORD 3068, I will sing 2167 praises 2167.

 101:2 I will give 7919a heed 7919a to the blameless 8549 way 1870. When 4970 will You come 935 to me? I will walk 1980 within 7130 my house 1004 in the integrity 8537 of my heart 3824.

 101:3 I will set 7896 no 3808 worthless 1100 thing 1697 before 5048 my eyes 5869; I hate 8130 the work 6213a of those 7846 who 7846 fall 7846 away 7846; It shall not fasten 1692 its grip 1692 on me.

 101:4 A perverse 6141 heart 3824 shall depart 5493 from me; I will know 3045 no 3808 evil 7451b.

 101:5 Whoever secretly 5643a slanders 3960 his neighbor 7453, him I will destroy 6789; No 3808 one who has a haughty 1364 look 5869 and an arrogant 7342 heart 3824 will I endure 3201.

 101:6 ¶ My eyes 5869 shall be upon the faithful 539 of the land 776, that they may dwell 3427 with me; He who walks 1980 in a blameless 8549 way 1870 is the one 1931 who will minister 8334 to me.

 101:7 He who practices 6213a deceit 7423a shall not dwell 3427 within 7130 my house 1004; He who speaks 1696 falsehood 8267 shall not maintain 3559 his position 3559 before 5048 me.

 101:8 Every morning 1242 I will destroy 6789 all 3605 the wicked 7563 of the land 776, So as to cut 3772 off 3772 from the city 5892b of the LORD 3068 all 3605 those who do 6466 iniquity 205.
