1 The grievous estate of the wicked. 5 The excellency of God's mercy. 10 David prayeth for favour to God's children.

 36:1 [[For the choir director. [A Psalm] of David the servant of the LORD.]] Transgression 6588 speaks 5002 to the ungodly 7563 within 7130 his heart 3820; There 369 is no 369 fear 6343 of God 430 before 5048 his eyes 5869.

 36:2 For it flatters 2505b him in his [own] eyes 5869 Concerning the discovery 4672 of his iniquity 5771 [and] the hatred 8130 [of it].

 36:3 The words 1697 of his mouth 6310 are wickedness 205 and deceit 4820; He has ceased 2308 to be wise 7919a [and] to do 3190 good 3190.

 36:4 He plans 2803 wickedness 205 upon his bed 4904; He sets 3320 himself on a path 1870 that is not good 2896a; He does not despise 3988a evil 7451b.

 36:5 ¶ Your lovingkindness 2617a, O LORD 3068, extends to the heavens 8064, Your faithfulness 530 [reaches] to the skies 7834.

 36:6 Your righteousness 6666 is like the mountains 2022 of God 410; Your judgments 4941 are [like] a great 7227a deep 8415. O LORD 3068, You preserve 3467 man 120 and beast 929.

 36:7 How 4100 precious 3368 is Your lovingkindness 2617a, O God 430! And the children 1121 of men 120 take 2620 refuge 2620 in the shadow 6738 of Your wings 3671.

 36:8 They drink 8248 their fill 7301 of the abundance 1880 of Your house 1004; And You give 8248 them to drink 7301 of the river 5158a of Your delights 5730a.

 36:9 For with You is the fountain 4726 of life 2425b; In Your light 216 we see 7200 light 216.

 36:10 ¶ O continue 4900 Your lovingkindness 2617a to those who know 3045 You, And Your righteousness 6666 to the upright 3477 in heart 3820.

 36:11 Let not the foot 7272 of pride 1346 come 935 upon me, And let not the hand 3027 of the wicked 7563 drive 5110 me away 5110.

 36:12 There 8033 the doers 6466 of iniquity 205 have fallen 5307; They have been thrust 1760 down 1760 and cannot 3201 3808 rise 6965.
