Hide not thy face from me in the day [when] I am in trouble; incline thine ear unto me: in the day [when] I call answer me speedily. |

and my bonesº

For my days are consumed like smoke, and my bones are burned as an hearth. |

the day;º

against me are swornºº

of thine indignationº
and thy wrath:º

thou hast lifted me up,ºº

Because of thine indignation and thy wrath: for thou hast lifted me up, and cast me down. |

[are] like a shadowº
that declineth;ºº
and Iº
am witheredºº

shalt endureºº
for ever;º
and thy remembranceº
unto allº

But thou, O Yahweh, shalt endure for ever; and thy remembrance unto all generations. |

shalt arise,ºº
[and] have mercyºº
uponº

צִיּוֹן:º

the timeº
to favourºº
her, yea,º
the set time,º
is come.ºº |

Thou shalt arise, [and] have mercy upon Tziyyon: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come. |

thy servantsº
take pleasureºº
inºº
her stones,º
and favourºº
the dustº
thereof. |

For thy servants take pleasure in her stones, and favour the dust thereof. |

So the heathenº
shall fearººº
the nameº
of
Yähwè
יָהוֶה,º
and allº
the kingsº
of the earthºº
thy glory.º |

So the heathen shall fear the name of Yahweh, and all the kings of the earth thy glory. |

Whenº
Yähwè
יָהוֶהº
shall build upºº
Xiyyôn
צִיּוֹן,º
he shall appearºº
in his glory.º |

When Yahweh shall build up Tziyyon, he shall appear in his glory. |
|
102:17
He will regardººº
the prayerº
of the destitute,º
and notº
despiseººº
their prayer.º |
|

He will regard the prayer of the destitute, and not despise their prayer. |

102:18
Thisº
shall be writtenºº
for the generationº
to come:º
and the peopleº
which shall be createdºº
shall praiseºº

This shall be written for the generation to come: and the people which shall be created shall praise Yah. |

of his sanctuary;º

For he hath looked down from the height of his sanctuary; from heaven did Yahweh behold the earth; |

the groaningº
of the prisoner;º
to looseºº
those that are appointedº
to death;º |

To hear the groaning of the prisoner; to loose those that are appointed to death; |

To declareºº
the nameº
of
Yähwè
יָהוֶהº
in
Xiyyôn
צִיּוֹן,º
and his praiseº
in
Yærûšälaim
יְרוּשָׁלִַם;º |

To declare the name of Yahweh in Tziyyon, and his praise in Yerushalaim; |
|
102:22
When the peopleº
are gatheredºº
together,º
and the kingdoms,º
to serveººº
Yähwè
יָהוֶה.º |

102:22
When the people are gathered together, and the kingdoms, to serve Yahweh. |
|
102:23
He weakenedºº
my strengthº
in the way;º
he shortenedºº
my days.º |
|
102:23
He weakened my strength in the way; he shortened my days. |

I said,ºº
O my
´Ël
אֵל,º
takeº
me notº
awayºº
in the midstº
of my days:º
thy yearsº
[are] throughout allº
generations.º |

I said, O my El, take me not away in the midst of my days: thy years [are] throughout all generations. |

Of oldº
hast thou laid the foundationºº
of the earth:º
and the heavensº
[are] the workº
of thy hands.º |

Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens [are] the work of thy hands. |

Theyº
shall perish,ºº
but thouº
shalt endure:ºº
yea, allº
of them shall wax oldºº
like a garment;º
as a vestureº
shalt thou changeºº
them, and they shall be changed:ºº |
