them that go downºº

[[[A Psalm] of Dawid.]] Unto thee will I cry, O Yahweh my rock; be not silent to me: lest, [if] thou be silent to me, I become like them that go down into the pit. |

the voiceº
of my supplications,º
when I cryºº
untoº
thee, when I lift upºº
my handsº
towardº
thy holyº
oracle.º |

Hear the voice of my supplications, when I cry unto thee, when I lift up my hands toward thy holy oracle. |

Drawº
me notº
awayºº
withº
the wicked,º
and withº
the workersºº
of iniquity,º
which speakºº
peaceº
toº
their neighbours,º
but mischiefº
[is] in their hearts.º |

Draw me not away with the wicked, and with the workers of iniquity, which speak peace to their neighbours, but mischief [is] in their hearts. |

Giveºº
them according to their deeds,º
and according to the wickednessº
of their endeavours:º
giveºº
them after the workº
of their hands;º
renderºº
to them their desert.º |

Give them according to their deeds, and according to the wickedness of their endeavours: give them after the work of their hands; render to them their desert. |

Becauseº
they regardººº
notº
the worksº
of
Yähwè
יָהוֶה,º
nor the operationº
of his hands,º
he shall destroyºº
them, and notº
build them up.ºº |

Because they regard not the works of Yahweh, nor the operation of his hands, he shall destroy them, and not build them up. |

Blessedºº
[be]
Yähwè
יָהוֶה,º
becauseº
he hath heardºº
the voiceº
of my supplications.º |

Blessed [be] Yahweh, because he hath heard the voice of my supplications. |

Yähwè
יָהוֶהº
[is] my strengthº
and my shield;º
my heartº
trustedºº
in him, and I am helped:ºº
therefore my heartº
greatly rejoiceth;ºº
and with my songºº
will I praiseºº
him. |

Yahweh [is] my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him. |

[is] their strength,º
and heº
[is] the savingº
strengthº
of his anointed.º |

Yahweh [is] their strength, and he [is] the saving strength of his anointed. |

thy people,º
and blessººº
thine inheritance:º
feedºº
them also, and lift them upºº
for ever.ºº |

Save thy people, and bless thine inheritance: feed them also, and lift them up for ever. |
