my goodnessº

[O my soul], thou hast said unto Yahweh, Thou [art] Yahweh: my goodness [extendeth] not to thee; |

[But] to the saintsº
thatºº
[are] in the earth,º
and [to] the excellent,º
in whom [is] allº
my delight.º |

[But] to the saints that [are] in the earth, and [to] the excellent, in whom [is] all my delight. |

Their sorrowsº
shall be multipliedºº
[that] hastenºº
[after] anotherº

אֱלֹהִים]: their drink offeringsº
of bloodºº
will I notº
offer,ºº
norº
take upººº
their namesº
intoº
my lips.º |

Their sorrows shall be multiplied [that] hasten [after] another [elohim]: their drink offerings of blood will I not offer, nor take up their names into my lips. |

of mine inheritanceº
and of my cup:º

Yahweh [is] the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot. |

unto me in pleasantº
[places]; yea,º
I haveº
a goodlyºº
heritage.º |

The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant [places]; yea, I have a goodly heritage. |

I will blessººº

hath given me counsel:ºº
my reinsº
alsoº
instructºº
me in the night seasons.º |

I will bless Yahweh, who hath given me counsel: my reins also instruct me in the night seasons. |

alwaysº
beforeº
me: becauseº
[he is] at my right hand,ºº
I shall notº
be moved.ºº |

I have set Yahweh always before me: because [he is] at my right hand, I shall not be moved. |

my heartº
is glad,ºº
and my gloryº
rejoiceth:ºº
my fleshº

shall restºº
in hope.º |

Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope. |

For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. |

me the pathº
of life:º

thy presenceº
[is] fulnessº
of joy;º
at thy right handº
[there are] pleasuresº
for evermore.º |

Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence [is] fulness of joy; at thy right hand [there are] pleasures for evermore. |
