´Ël
אֵל;º
early will I seekºº
thee: my soulº
thirstethºº
for thee, my fleshº
longethºº
for thee in a dryº
and thirstyº
land,º
where noº
waterº
is; |

[[A Psalm of Dawid, when he was in the wilderness of Yehudah.]] O Elohim, thou [art] my El; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is; |

To seeºº
thy powerº
and thy glory,º
soº
[as] I have seenºº
thee in the sanctuary.º |
|
63:2
To see thy power and thy glory, so [as] I have seen thee in the sanctuary. |
|
63:3
Becauseº
thy lovingkindnessº
[is] betterº
than life,ºº
my lipsº
shall praiseºº
thee. |
|
63:3
Because thy lovingkindness [is] better than life, my lips shall praise thee. |
|
63:4
Thusº
will I blessºº
thee while I live:º
I will lift upºº
my handsº
in thy name.º |
|
63:4
Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name. |

My soulº
shall be satisfiedºº
asº
[with] marrowº
and fatness;º
and my mouthº
shall praiseºº
[thee] with joyfulº
lips:º |

My soul shall be satisfied as [with] marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise [thee] with joyful lips: |

Whenº
I rememberºº
thee uponº
my bed,º
[and] meditateºº
on thee in the [night] watches.º |

When I remember thee upon my bed, [and] meditate on thee in the [night] watches. |
|
63:7
Becauseº
thou hast beenº
my help,º
therefore in the shadowº
of thy wingsº
will I rejoice.ºº |

Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice. |

My soulº
followeth hardºº
afterº
thee: thy right handº
upholdethºº
me. |
|
63:8
My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me. |

63:9
But thoseº
[that] seekºº
my soul,º
to destroyº
[it], shall goºº
into the lower partsº
of the earth.º |

63:9
But those [that] seek my soul, to destroy [it], shall go into the lower parts of the earth. |
|
63:10
They shall fallºº
byºº
the sword:ºº
they shall beº
a portionº
for foxes.º |
|
63:10
They shall fall by the sword: they shall be a portion for foxes. |

63:11
But the kingº
shall rejoiceºº
in
´Élöhîm
אֱלֹהִים;º
every oneº
that swearethºº
by him shall glory:ºº
butº
the mouthº
of them that speakºº
liesº
shall be stopped.ºº |

But the king shall rejoice in Elohim; every one that sweareth by him shall glory: but the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped. |
