Let my prayerº

beforeº
thee [as] incense;º
[and] the lifting upº
of my handsº
[as] the eveningº
sacrifice.º |

Let my prayer be set forth before thee [as] incense; [and] the lifting up of my hands [as] the evening sacrifice. |

the doorº

Set a watch, O Yahweh, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips. |

Inclineºº

my heartº
to [any] evilº
thing,º
to practiseºº
wickedº
worksº
withº
menº
that workºº
iniquity:º
and let me notº
eatºº
of their dainties.º |

Incline not my heart to [any] evil thing, to practise wicked works with men that work iniquity: and let me not eat of their dainties. |

Let the righteousº
smiteºº
me; [it shall be] a kindness:º
and let him reproveºº
me; [it shall be] an excellentº
oil,º
[which] shall notº
breakºº
my head:º
forº
yetº
my prayerº
also [shall be] in their calamities.º |

Let the righteous smite me; [it shall be] a kindness: and let him reprove me; [it shall be] an excellent oil, [which] shall not break my head: for yet my prayer also [shall be] in their calamities. |

are overthrownºº
in stonyº

they shall hearºº
my words;º

they are sweet.ºº |

When their judges are overthrown in stony places, they shall hear my words; for they are sweet. |

Our bonesº
are scatteredºº
at the grave'sº
mouth,º
as whenº
one cuttethºº
and cleavethºº
[wood] upon the earth.º |

Our bones are scattered at the grave's mouth, as when one cutteth and cleaveth [wood] upon the earth. |

Butº
mine eyesº
[are] untoº
thee, O

יָהוֶהº
´Áðönäy
אֲדֹנָי:º
in thee is my trust;ºº
leaveºº
not my soulº
destitute.ºººº |

But mine eyes [are] unto thee, O Yahweh Adonay: in thee is my trust; leave not my soul destitute. |

Keepºº
me fromºº
the snaresºº
[which] they have laidºº
for me, and the ginsº
of the workersºº
of iniquity.º |

Keep me from the snares [which] they have laid for me, and the gins of the workers of iniquity. |

Let the wickedº

into their own nets,º
