are they gathered togetherºº

Which imagine mischiefs in [their] heart; continually are they gathered together [for] war. |

likeº
a serpent;º
adders'º
poisonº

I said unto Yahweh, Thou [art] my El: hear the voice of my supplications, O Yahweh. |

the strengthº
of my salvation,º
thou hast coveredºº
my headº
in the dayº
of battle.º |

O Yahweh Adonay, the strength of my salvation, thou hast covered my head in the day of battle. |

the desiresº
of the wicked:º
furtherºº

his wicked device;º
[lest] they exaltºº
themselves.

of those that compass me about,º
let the mischiefº
of their own lipsº

Let not an evil speaker be established in the earth: evil shall hunt the violent man to overthrow [him]. |

will maintainºº
the causeº
of the afflicted,º
[and] the rightº
of the poor.º |

I know that Yahweh will maintain the cause of the afflicted, [and] the right of the poor. |

Surelyº
the righteousº
shall give thanksºº
unto thy name:º
the uprightº
shall dwellººº
in thy presence.º |

Surely the righteous shall give thanks unto thy name: the upright shall dwell in thy presence. |
